Creating the future, without fear.

// Curriculum Update: Week of Feb. 18 //

Yellow room continued to talk about President’s day and this week children learnt about our previous Presidents and also about important places like The White House, Mount Rushmore and The United States Capitol.  We read a few books on President’s Day and learnt about how the President gets elected and that every four years we vote and choose a new one. We also discussed that a person can be a President only for 4 years but can sometimes be a President for 8 years if he/she gets chosen again by the people who live in this country.

This week we welcomed one of our class parents to celebrate Chinese New Year with us. Yellow room children were thrilled to learn more about this special celebration and see pictures of their friend celebrating with her family in Taiwan. They also got to decorate their own lanterns.

Lastly, thank you to all of you who made time to attend our ‘Family Fun Night’ and make it more fun. It is always a pleasure to have you all.
