Creating the future, without fear.

// Curriculum Update: Week of Jan 7 //

This week in Yellow Room we talked about ‘fire safety’ and why it is so important. We read books on firefighters and learnt how they serve as our valuable community helpers. We also looked at some important dos and don’ts in case of fire and how we can keep ourselves safe in such an emergency.  Children were excited to get an opportunity to dress up like a firefighter and also got certificates saying that they have learnt about fire safety.

We also continued to talk about the weather and how the sun, wind, rain and snow can change how we feel outside during winter. Children have been paying attention to the these weather changes every time we go to the park and are able to identify them.
