//Curriculum Update: Week of October 29 //
We ended the month of October on a busy note. Our Triangle Room friends gathered around at circle time to help carve a pumpkin into Mr. Jack-O-Latern. It was both a sensorial experience and an extension to learning about the parts of a pumpkin. We created our very own pumpkin patch in Hamilton Park’s communal garden. The children were able to walk around the garden and pick their own little pumpkins.
As an art craft, they also created their own Jack-O-Lanterns and some children designed their own seasonal fall necklace using different materials, such as beads, pumpkin pasta and erasers.
