//Curriculum Update: Week of October 1 //

Autumn is in the air,  especially in the Triangle Room.  The children are beginning to see more pumpkin and leaf works out on the shelves and enjoyed and an apple tasting activity during  circle time. Each child showed their preference for their favorite apple/apples.  Some chose the red delicious apple as their favorite  and some chose the golden delicious apple as their favorite, while other children chose all three apples as their favorite.  

During our walks outside, we are beginning to notice the many changes of the season by learning  the song “Autumn Leaves Are Falling Down”.  We also celebrated Peace Day and the Birthday of our school by promoting peace throughout our classroom.  Some books that we read are reading are: “If Peace Is” by Jane Baskwill  and “Love the World by Todd Parr.  We also sang “Light A Candle For Peace” and “I’ve Got Peace Like A River”.
