// Week of October 22: Curriculum Update //
As more leaves fall from our trees, opportunities for sensorial experiences emerge in the Triangle Room. Each child was given a bag and was allowed to roam in the park, to collect different type of leaves for an art project. They also enjoyed playing and throwing leaves in the air with all their friends.
We are continuing to learn more about pumpkins in all areas of the classroom. During circle time, we introduced the parts of a pumpkin from a little seed to its full size. Our Pumpkin Scrubbing Work allows our children to strengthen their fine motor skills. A song that we are learning to sing which is also helping us to count is our “ Five Little Pumpkins” song.
