// Curriculum Update, week of Oct. 9 //

Our Triangle Room  friends came back from the long weekend with smiles and a readiness to work.  We are beginning to see the children move about the classroom with more  ease  and internalize a sense of order in the classroom.  Many of the students are able to choose their own activities in different areas of the classroom and some are able to complete a whole work cycle on their own. 

Group lessons have been given on Montessori Sensorial materials such as the Brown Stairs and Pink Tower.  These materials help to recognize and understand the differences in sizes.
