// Curriculum Update: First Week in December //
This week 3rd levels went to the 5th floor and spent the morning work cycle with upper elementary friends! We also had a whole group cultural lesson the rock cycle. There are 3 different types of rocks, metamorphic rocks, sedimentary rocks, and igneous rocks! Ms. Hannah introduced adverbs to the second levels. She also talked about when to use the articles “a,” or “an,” you use “an” where there is a vowel in the beginning of the word and use “a” when there is a consonant in the beginning of the word. For example, “a ball”, and “an egg.” Mr. Brendan taught the second levels how to compare fractions. It’s like where you have two fractions, like 1/8 and 3/5, you see which one is bigger or if they’re equal.
