// Hibernation Week: Curriculum Update //

The past few days has been  a “Week of Giving” in Sky Room. Friday, with the help of Sky Room friends and family, especially Jane and Claudia, London( 2nd level) and Harper’s (3rd level)  mom, we wrapped many toys for 5 families who created a wish list in the Jersey City/Hoboken area. Some Sky Room friends chose to “adopt” a child by buying a gift and writing a personalized card to them! On Tuesday, we had special guests come in to Sky Room, Cicely and Alex , Jacob’s (3rd level) grandmother and his cousin from Grenada! His grandmother cooked us delicious food for us to try! On Wednesday, Ms. Erica’s dad, Robert, a Jersey City Firefighter, came into Sky Room to talk about children in Dominican Rupublic who are in need of school supplies! So we all packed backpacks filled with different school supplies, and wrote a note to put into each bag. With the holidays around the corner, we started thinking about our community and those who are less fortunate then we are, we are so happy to be able to give to our community and other places in the world!
