//Curriculum Update: Week of October 1 //

We started the week following up our Solar System lesson.  We colored planet maps and did research on our celestial neighbors.  On Thursday we took an Interplanetary Hike where we mapped out the solar system to scale.  We zoomed in closer to Earth by studying our closest neighbor, our very own Moon and why we see it go through phases. 

HPMS celebrated another birthday combined with our Peace Day celebration in the park.  We sang songs and enjoyed coming together as a whole school community.
