This week...

Love is in the air..... We welcome February!

This week, we had two best friends who turned 6 celebrate their birthdays one day apart, how awesome! In more awesomeness, Happy Chinese New Year!

We continued the study of the Human Body and got into more depth with our discussions...the children learned the names of different organs in their body's and their functions such as, heart, kidney, liver, brain and lungs. They explored the works on the shelves on this unit as they matched 3-part picture cards and labels, also an interactive work placing the organs.

In other news, the Kindergarteners published their 1st book and read aloud to their parents this week in their "Publishing Party!" They worked endless hours, putting thought into their story, from thinking about a real life event, drafting, editing and creating their final copy! We applaud them...!
