// Curriculum Update: Week of Jan 28 //

We made it through the bitter cold..... for now! With that, we were still able to engage in gross-motor activities on the 6th floor, the children having endless fun, teaming up to play chasing games, building  with the blue blocks, pretending to form their own band while drumming. 

In the classroom, we started a new unit of study.... "The Human Body." We discussed the some key parts and read some books. We touched on how we have many senses (hearing, tasting, seeing, smelling) and we use them everyday to do the simplest stuff - hearing the birds chirp, seeing the blue sky, tasting an apple and smelling their warm lunches.  We will continue with this unit for next few week to come....
