Creating the future, without fear.

// Week of Sept. 24: Curriculum Update //

Red Room welcomed autumn with many new works. We examined differences in gourds and thought of things that remind us of fall. New artwork brightens the classroom with warm fall colors and makes us think of chilly days, warm sweaters, and leaves falling. As we feel cozy in our classroom, we are returning to familiar works and exploring new concepts too!

// Curriculum Update for Week of Sept. 17 //

This week we collaborated on making a list of ways to make Red Room a peaceful place. We are also learning how to use our kind words to communicate with our friends and how to ensure that our bodies are peaceful, too. One way is to take a snack break. Ms. Jing demonstrated how we can spread jam on bread for a delightful snack. We had lessons to make our environment beautiful, such as flower arranging and sweeping.

// Week of Sept. 10: Curriculum Update //

The Red Room classroom community started the new school year by welcoming one another, sharing smiles and giving hugs. At circle time, we played name games and songs to get to know each other better. We talked about how to be caring, helpful and respectful members of our classroom environment. Meantime, enjoy the captured moments  of the children's activities!
